High School -- Was a four-year letterwinner at Sapulpa High School . . . started two years at receiver and his senior season at safety, and also punted . . . had 40 punts for a 44.7 yard average as a senior . . . had 25 catches for 240 yards and 6 TDs as a receiver . . . was named to the Daily Oklahoman second team all-state squad . . . earned first-team all-district 6A-4 honors . . . caught 15 passes for 300 yards as a junior, and punted 37 times for a 39.7 average . . . also played soccer where he was named all-district with 5 goals as a senior . . . high school coach was Mike Hainzinger.
