Despite playing only one year, Bob St. Clair was recognized as one of the greatest defensive tackles in Golden Hurricane history … combined his strength and agility to be an outstanding pass rusher … transferred to Tulsa before the 1952 season after the University of San Francisco dropped the sport of football … earned second-team All-Missouri Valley Conference honors and played on the 1952 Gator Bowl team in his one season … went on to play professionally for the San Francisco 49ers and played in five Pro Bowls … was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1990.
