Murl “Tuffy” Cline was a speedy and shifty quarterback who also played defense for Tulsa … served as captain of the 1925 Golden Hurricane squad that posted a 6-2 record and won the Oklahoma Collegiate Conference title … was selected to the All-Oklahoma team for two consecutive years … went on to coach at the Oklahoma Military Academy where his teams were nationally ranked on the junior college level.
