TU alumnae Lindsey Smith was appointed to the position of assistant compliance director at The University of Tulsa in May 2022. Smith spent the previous two years as a graduate assistant in Tulsa’s compliance department.

Smith was a coxswain for Tulsa’s women’s rowing team for four seasons (2016-20). During her collegiate career, her Varsity 4+ boat claimed a silver medal at the 2019 American Athletic Conference Championship and a bronze medal in the 3rd varsity 4+ at the 2018 conference championship.

She was an active member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for four years and served two terms as secretary and two terms as the SAAC President.

A native of Poughkeepsie, NY, Smith earned her bachelor’s degree in organizational studies in 2020 and her master’s in museum science and management in 2022, both from Tulsa.
