Travis Rae

Travis Rae joined Tulsa Athletics in March 2025 as the Associate AD for Content and Communications.
He serves as the primary contact for the Golden Hurricane Football and Women's Golf programs.
Before Tulsa, he spent two and a half years at Mississippi State University as an Associate Director of Communications, was the baseball contact, and assisted with football.
While at Mississippi State, he grew their baseball social media presence by 15 percent over his time at Mississippi State.
He spent a year and a half at the University of Utah as the women's basketball contact and assisted with the Utes' football program.
At Utah, he covered the women's basketball team that advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2011 and promoted the 2022 Pac-12 Freshman of the Year.
Rae worked for two years at Mercer and spent time working with the men's basketball, football, and baseball teams. He worked with the creative team to promote the athletics' social media channels and run the main social account.
He is an active member of College Sports Communicators (CSC) and the National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).
He graduated in 2010 from the University of Wisconsin – Parkside with a degree in Sport Management and earned his Master's in Sport Management from Cardinal Stritch University in 2012.
Rae resides in Tulsa.
