Zach Carattini joined The University of Tulsa as a media relations intern in August 2022 and was promoted to Associate Director of Athletic Communications in January 2024. He currently serves as the primary media contact for Golden Hurricane Soccer, Tennis, Women's Basketball, Volleyball, Rowing, Cross Country and Track & Field.

Carattini has been a vital part of the revampment of the TU brand, producing content designed for social and traditional media for each of Tulsa's 17 sports at one point or another. At Tulsa, Carattini has handled the coverage of six All-Americans and 62 American Athletic Conference all-conference selections.
While at Tulsa, Carattini oversaw the transition of the video board designs at the nationally recognized Michael D. Case Tennis Center, home of the TU men's and women's tennis teams. He took advantage of the capabilities of the brand new Daktronics DMP-8000 Video Players for the indoor boards, the master outdoor board and the first four outdoor court scoreboards by installing and integrating new score layouts to enhance the player and fan experience at one of the premier tennis facilities in the country.
Before arriving at Tulsa, Carattini served as a sports information assistant as an undergraduate student at Chadron State for the 2021-22 school year, where he served as the primary media contact for the Eagle volleyball and women's basketball teams while assisting the sports information director with all home events as well as the maintenance of the school's athletic website.
A native of Chadron, Neb., Carattini earned his bachelor's degree in general business with a minor in criminal justice from Chadron State College in 2022.
