Tulsa's Twellman Receives All-Region Honors

Tulsa, Oklahoma - University of Tulsa sophomore forward Julie Twellman has been named to the Soccer Buzz Central Region Third Team.
Twellman, who hails from Columbia, Mo., is a two-time member of the all-region team. Last season, she was named to the Central Region all-freshman team. This season, she led Tulsa in scoring for the second straight year. She completed her sophomore campaign with 11 goals and four assists for 26 points. In just under two seasons, Twellman already ranks ninth on the school's chart for goals scored with 20 and 11th among TU's career scoring leaders with 49 points. Twellman is also a two-time member to the Western Athletic Conference second team. She has started 30 of 34 career games played.
