Haskins Steps Up to Leadership Spot

What a difference a year makes. Last season, Sarah Haskins competed in all six meets for the Golden Hurricane, scoring in only one of them. That was a 60th place finish- fifth on the team, at the OSU Cowboy Jamboree.

Not only has she competed in all three meets this season, she has led the squad in all three events. She has placed among the top five in all three events this year, to go along with three new career best times.

With a 11:45 time at the Hurricane Festival, she now owns the fastest 2-mile time on this year's squad. Her 18:24.9 time for a five-kilometer race at the Fayetteville Invitational is the third best career-time among her teammates, but the fastest time of this season.
