Henry Earns WAC Golfer of the Month Award

Denver, Colorado - University of Tulsa senior golfer Kevin Henry was named the Western Athletic Conference Golf Athlete of the Month for September, as announced today by the league office.

Henry led the Hurricane to a sixth-place finish at the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate, Sept. 10-11. In a field of 74 participants, Henry posted an eighth-place finish with rounds of 71, 71 and 70 for a four-under par 212.

The eighth-place performance for Henry was the fifth top-10 finish of his career, and over the last two seasons is the seventh time in 15 tournaments that he has placed among the top-20. With a 70.7 stroke average, Henry is currently ranked 75th nationally by Golf Week magazine.
