Reynolds Signs with Golden Hurricane

Head Coach James Pinkerton signed his sixth new player in Edmond's Holly Reynolds.

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa softball team has Holly Reynolds to a national letter-of-intent announced first-year head coach James Pinkerton. The Edmond, Okla., native chose TU over Georgia State, Southwestern Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. She is the sixth signee for the Golden Hurricane this year.

Reynolds hit .354 this season for the Bulldogs of Edmond Memorial High School, with an on-base percentage of .375. She earned All-State honors as well as being named to the all-Edmond squad, All-Mid State Conference, All-District 8, and All-Big City first teams. The four-year letter winner also helped lead the Bulldogs to a 38-9 record this season and four consecutive state appearances.

Playing for the Oklahoma Jitterbugs 18-under Gold team, she placed first at the 23U ASA National Championship. She had a .950 fielding percentage, a .550 on-base percentage and led the squad in stolen bases.

Off the field, Reynolds is a member of the superintendent's honor roll. She is a two-time nominee for Miss Teen as well as the National Leadership Forum on Medicine. Reynolds also enjoys umpiring Little League softball games and hosting clinics for youth.
