RENO, Nev. (AP) - Kirk Snyder scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Nevada beat Tulsa 80-71 in a Western Athletic Conference game Thursday night.

Nick Fazekas added 19 points and 11 rebounds for Nevada (10-6, 4-3 WAC), which scored 28 points off Tulsa turnovers.

Tulsa trailed 36-30 at the half after hitting 12-of-29 in the first half, including 5-of-9 from the free throw line. The Golden Hurricane (6-9, 2-4 WAC) shot 48 percent for the game.

Anthony Price led Tulsa with 18 points and six rebounds. Jason Parker was 6-of-14 for 15 points and had seven assists.

Nevada, which shot 44 percent from the field, outrebounded Tulsa 50-27.
