TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Point guard DaShaun Wood scored 15 of his 22 points in the last seven minutes and overtime Tuesday night, leading Wright State to a 72-66 victory over Tulsa in the first round of the Preseason NIT.

Wood made every big play down the stretch in regulation as the Raiders held off a Tulsa rally led by Jarius Glenn, who tied a career high with 27 points.

Wright State had its largest lead at 41-35 on two free throws by Wood with 7:01 to play. Glenn, TU's senior forward, scored 13 points in the final 3:20 of regulation, including a tying layup with 7.3 seconds remaining.

Jaron Taylor gave Wright State the lead for good at the outset in overtime with a 3-pointer from the right corner. Tulsa had a final chance to tie after Glenn's basket with 14.2 seconds left made it 69-66.

Chris Wallace missed on a potential game-tying 3-pointer and Drew Burleson rebounded and was fouled. His two free throws with 6.9 seconds remaining nailed down the win for Wright State, which will face the winner of Arizona-San Diego in the second round.

Burleson finished with 17 points, Spencer Everett had 13 points and seven rebounds and Zach Williams had 10 points and seven boards for the victors.

Wood added nine rebounds, four assists, two blocks and three steals to his 22 points. Glenn had a double-double with 11 rebounds, while Anthony Price contributed 17 points for Tulsa.
