• Uril Parrish became just the 17th player in school history to rush for over 200 yards in a single game. Parrish's 229 yards is the sixth-best single-game rushing performance in school history.
• It's the first 200+ rushing game for a Tulsa player since earlier this year when Brandon Diles rushed for 202 yards vs. Nevada. It's only the third time in school history that Tulsa has had two 200+ individual rushing performances in a single season (1991, Chris Hughley had 231 yards vs. Texas A&M and Ron Jackson had 211 yards vs. San Diego State; the other came in 1985 when both Gordon Brown, 214, and Steve Gage, 212, had over 200 yards in the same game vs. Wichita State).
• Parrish's 229 yards marked the fourth game this year, and the fifth time in his career to surpass the 100+ rushing mark
• In the last two years, Tulsa has now scored over 30 points in eight of 11 games under Steve Kragthorpe.
• James Kilian moved into fifth place on the school's all-time passing list, surpassing Jerry Rhome's (1963-64) total of 4,779 yards. He entered the game needing 137 yards to tie Rhome. Kilian now has 4,789 career passing yards.
• Parrish's second run from scrimmage, 45 yards, was a season-long for him, and a season-long rush for Tulsa this season. The 45-yard run was the longest for a Tulsa running back since Eric Richardson's 80-yard run against Louisiana Tech last year on Nov. 15.
• Parrish went over the 100-yard rushing mark on just his sixth carry. He started with 106 yards on six carries. He had 156 yards on 16 carries at halftime.
• Tulsa scored a touchdown on its first possession for the second straight week.
• Tulsa has scored on its opening possession four times this year, three touchdowns (Oklahoma State, Louisiana Tech and San Jose State) and one field goal (Nevada).
• Nick Bunting has his third career interception, and his first this season.
• Tulsa led after the first quarter, 10-0, for only the third time this year. The previous two games were against Nevada and Rice.
• SJS' 53-yard touchdown run was just the fifth 45+ yard play that Tulsa has given up for a touchdown this year.
• Tulsa led at halftime for just the third time this year. The previous two times were against Southwest Missouri State and Rice, both home games.
• Tulsa's 24 first-half points was a season-best for the Hurricane this year.
• Tulsa opened both the first half (touchdown) and second half (field goal) with scores. It's the first time this year that Tulsa has scored on their first possession of both halves.
• With his second reception of the game (11 yards), Caleb Blankenship went over the 1,000 career receiving plateau.
