Tulsa Falls In Heartbreaker To Boise State, 72-71

BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Coby Karl scored 19 points and Boise State withstood a 30-8 second-half run in its 72-71 win over Tulsa on Thursday night, the Golden Hurricane's sixth straight loss.
Tulsa tied the game at 68 with 1:30 left on two free throws by Guilherme Teichmann. But Eric Lane gave Boise State the lead with two free throws and the Broncos held on for the win.
Jermaine Blackburn led Boise State (7-6, 1-1 Western Athletic Conference) with 20 points and four assists and Seth Robinson scored a career-high 15 points.
Deion James scored 19 points for the Golden Hurricane (2-10, 0-4), while Teichmann added 14 and Brian Cardwell had 12.
Boise State took a 44-32 lead at halftime and widened it to 48-32 on two free throws by Karl. But Tulsa then went on its 30-8 run, with Teichmann and James each scoring nine points to give the Golden Hurricane a 62-56 lead.
