Tulsa Women's Soccer Announces 2004 Awards

Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa women's soccer team held its 2004 Team Banquet at the Donald W. Reynolds Center on Saturday, January 29, 2005. Head Coach Rena Richardson presented the team awards to the following players for their performances during the 2004 campaign.
Team MVP- Carrie Schnarre -Named to the all-WAC First Team and to the all-WAC Tournament Team . . . registered eight goals and four assists for 20 points . . . led Tulsa in both goals and scoring and was second for assists. All three scoring categories are all single-season highs.
Offensive MVP- Katie Ward -Started all 19 games this season and has produced five goals and eight assists for 18 points . . . was second on the team in goals and scoring and led the team in assists . . . named to the 2004 CoSida Academic All-District VI University Division Women's Soccer Second Team.
Defensive MVP- Alexis Arment -Was a captain and served as the anchor of the Golden Hurricane defense
Coaches Award- Krista Barker -"Krista was one of our hardest workers and was a true inspiration for our team. She is very talented on the ball and is also a tough defender," Richardson said.
