Daniela Muscolino (a junior tennis athlete from Buenos Aries, Argentina.) has maintained a 3.49 grade point average in exercise sport science. Last week, Muscolino registered a 3-0 singles record and recorded a mark of 2-1 in doubles. Playing the top position in the singles lineup, she defeated Tulane's #112-ranked Maria Ivanov in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4, and was the only Hurricane player to post a singles victory in each of the three matches last week. In doubles action, Muscolino and doubles partner, freshman Carla Zabaleta, defeated Tulane's 49th-ranked duo and also topped Oklahoma's top doubles team.
