Tulsa's Korbe Named to All-WAC Golf Team

Denver, Colorado - University of Tulsa golfer Sam Korbe was named to the Western Athletic Conference second-team all-league squad.
Korbe, a sophomore from Springdale, Arkansas finished in third-place at the WAC Championships recently. On the season, Korbe has placed among the top-20 in ffive events. He has finished among the top-10 in his last three tournaments.
In addition to his third-place performance at the WAC Championships, Kkorbe also had a third-place finish at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate. He placed eighth at The Intercollegiate.
Korbe has a team-leading 73.5 stroke average in 28 rounds of golf this year. In his career, he has placed among the top-15 in seven events.
Tulsa is in action next at The Maxwell, May 14-15, in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
