Nagazina Named to C-USA All-Academic Team

Dawn Nagazina earned a spot on the Conference USA All-Academic Women's Cross Country team.

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa's Dawn Nagazina has been honored by Conference USA for her academic and athletic success by being named to the C-USA Cross Country All-Academic team.

Each member of the 2006 women's all-academic team sports a 3.5 GPA or better. Junior Hayley Flynn of East Carolina joins Nagazina, an Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, native, as two of three student-athletes on the all-academic teams that boast a 4.00 GPA. A chemical engineer major, Nagazina has appeared on the President's List twice. Flynn is a special and elementary education major that has finished in the top-five in two of four races in 2006.
