Henshaw Earns C-USA Athlete of the Week Honor

Edwin Henshaw earned C-USA recognition for his run at the Cowboy Jamboree.

Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa's Edwin Henshaw was named the Conference USA men's cross country Athlete of the Week following a 10th-place finish at the Cowboy Jamboree in Stillwater, Okla.

Henshaw clocked his best performance of the season Saturday as the junior from New Zealand crossed the finish line in an 8K time of 24:45 for 10th-best overall.

He guided TU to a fifth place finish out of 21 teams, with the TU men placing four runners in the top half of finishers.

The Golden Hurricane will next be in action on October 14 when they travel to Terre Haute, Ind., to run at the Pre-Nationals hosted by Indiana State.
