Ward Named to a Pair of Academic Teams

Senior Katie Ward was named to both the C-USA All-Academic and the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 6 teams.

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa senior forward Katie Ward earned a spot on the Conference USA All-Academic Team and the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 6 Team. The senior has a 3.96 grade point average in mathematics.

The Waco, Texas, native finished the season with five goals and two assists for 12 points. All three categories ranked second on the team. She finishes with 20 career goals and 14 assists for 54 career points. She also ranks 11th all-time at TU for career goals and tied for ninth all-time in career assists.
