TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Freshman Ben Uzoh scored 18 points and Tulsa forced Oral Roberts into 24 turnovers and 32 percent shooting in a surprising 75-57 rout on Tuesday.

Oral Roberts made just 2 of 14 3-point shots and has now hit just 9 of 59 in three games since upsetting then-No. 3-ranked Kansas on Nov. 15 in Lawrence.

Tulsa (4-1) snapped a three-game losing streak against its cross-town rival and took back the Mayor's Cup in a raucous post-game celebration.

Senior Darold Crow scored 14 points, point guard Brett McDade had nine points and four assists and 10 players scored for the deep Golden Hurricane.

Center Caleb Green led Oral Roberts (3-2) with 19 points and 10 rebounds, but most of his points came late and he had eight turnovers before fouling out.

Ken Tutt finished with nine points on 3-of-11 shooting.

Tulsa didn't score for the first 3:41 of the contest, but after Calvin Walls hit his first two free throws, the Hurricane went on a 10-0 run to build a 10-4 lead with 11:29 on the first-half clock. Tulsa then proceeded t out-score ORU 8-4 over the next two minutes.

The Golden Eagles made just six of their first 21 shots in falling behind 32-13, before closing the first half on a 7-2 run to pull within 34-20.

Before that, Tulsa had threatened to make it a blowout, thanks to the stout team defense, the shooting of Crow, who finished 5 of 7 from the field, and the inside presence of freshman Jamel McLean, who had six rebounds and two blocks in the first half.

In the second half, the Hurricane never allowed Oral Roberts back in the game. After the Golden Eagles closed within 44-31, Charles Ramsdell and Crow hit consecutive 3-pointers to make it 48-31 with 11 minutes left in the game.

From there, Tulsa scored 27 points the rest of the way, while ORU tallied 26 points til the games end. The Hurricane led by 23 points at 68-45 on a Sam Mitchell leayup with 5:02 remaining in the contest.

Tulsa returns to the Donald W. Reynolds Center on Friday night to host the Lamar Cardinals. Tip-off is 7:05 pm.
