Tulsa Women's Soccer Team Falls 4-0 to UCF

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to UCF on Friday night at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. The Golden Hurricane fell to 2-10-1 on the season and 0-3 in Conference USA, while the Knights moved to 8-2-2 overall and 3-0 in the league.
With two minutes ticked off the clock, Hannah Wilde put UCF up 1-0 as she knocked one in from 18 yards out off a pass from Yvonne George. George earned her sixth goal of the season in the 22nd minute off a pass from Nikki Moore giving the Knights a 2-0 lead at the break.
In the second half, Courtney Whidden drilled in a goal from two yards out in the 69th minute, and with just 10 minutes to go, Kacie Horner scored the final goal of the night for UCF as she recorded a goal off the left post.
The Knights out-shot TU 18-10, including a 13-8 advantage in shots on goal. Kendall Harclerode registered nine saves on the night for 82 this season.
Tulsa will return to action on Sunday, October 14th as the Golden Hurricane hosts Southern Miss. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. at the Hurricane Stadium.
