Tulsa Women's Soccer Team to Host Houston This Friday

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa women's soccer team will host Houston this Friday, Oct. 26 beginning at 7:00 p.m. and Rice on Sunday, Oct. 28 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. These are the final two home contests for the TU women this season.

The Golden Hurricane enters the weekend with a 3-12-1 (1-5 C-USA) mark, while the Cougars own a 4-9-1 (0-5 C-USA) record and the Owls are 9-4-2 (3-1-1 C-USA).

Sophomore Jennifer Kacergis leads Tulsa with two goals and two assists for six points. She has attempted 29 shots, 15 of which were on goal, and has one game-winner this season. Junior Kendall Harclerode has played the majority of the season in goal for TU, posting 89 saves, but junior Rachel Robinson has played part of the last three contests between the posts and has notched 13 saves.

Houston posted victories over Tulsa in the only two meetings between the two schools, while TU and Rice are tied 3-3 in the overall series.
