Tulsa vs. SMU October 27, 2007 Post-Game Notes
• This was the 15th meeting between Tulsa and SMU; SMU leads the series 10-5.
• This was the 34th consecutive game started for quarterback Paul Smith and linebacker Nelson Coleman.
• Junior Roy Roberts' interception in the first quarter was his third of the season and the team's fifth. He now has seven career interceptions.
• Tulsa was held scoreless in the first quarter for the first time since December 23, 2006 against Utah in the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl.
• In the first quarter, Tulsa was held to only 51 yards, which is 95 yards less than it averages this season (146.3).
• This was only the third time this season that the opposition has scored first against Tulsa.
• At the 5:03 mark of the second quarter, with a nine-yard pass to Trae Johnson, senior Paul Smith became the school's all-time total offense leader, surpassing T.J. Rubley. He now has 9,348 career total offense yards.
• Tulsa's seven first half points was the lowest this season, and the lowest in the first half since scoring seven first-half points in the 2006 Bell Helicopter Bowl.

Freshman Charles Clay also had over 100 yard receiving, making it the third game this season with two receivers over 100 yards receiving.
• This was Paul Smith's eighth straight game with over 300 yards passing.
• Tulsa had a season-high five turnovers. This was the second consecutive game TU suffered four or more turnovers. It was the most turnovers since November 13, 2004 against Louisiana Tech (6 - 4 fumbles and 2 Interceptions).

• Emmanuel Sanders - Had one receiving TDs and now has five TDs on the season - He now has 14 TDs for his career to tie for fifth at SMU (ties Kevin Thornal, 14 from 1993-96) - Now has 98 career receptions to move into 17th at SMU (passed Kevin Thornal, 96 from 1993-96) - Now has 52 receptions this season, which is tied for 13th in a season at SMU (ties Jeff Jacobs, 52 in 1986) - Now has 1257 career receiving yards to move into 15th at SMU (passed Kevin Thornal, 1247 from 1993-96)
• Justin Willis - Now has 40 passing TDs for his career, which ties the SMU record by Chuck Hixson from 1968-70 - Now has 3977 career passing yards, which is sixth at SMU - Now has 4758 career yards total offense to move into fifth at SMU (passed Ricky Wesson, 4604 from 1973-76) - Now has 346 career completions to move into sixth at SMU (passes Josh McCown, 340 from 1998-00)
