Tulsa game captains were David Johnson, Charles Davis, Kenny D. Sims, Mike Bryan, Justin Morsey, Rod Thomas, Moton Hopkins and Terrel Nemons.
Tulsa's honorary captains tonight were Paul Smith (2003-07) and Jean Barrett (1969-71).

The second-longest touchdown pass was 98 yards from Jerry Rhome to Jeff Jordan against Wichita State in 1963.
Damaris Johnson's 94-yard kickoff return for a touchdown was Tulsa's first since Roy Roberts returned a kickoff 92 yards against Tulane (Nov. 3, 2007). Johnson's return is tied for 13th longest in Tulsa history (4 for 100, 6 for 98, 2 for 96, 2 others for 94).
This game marks the second time that Tulsa has scored two touchdowns from 90-yards or more in the same game. The first time this happened was in 1994 when Solomon White rushed a 93-yard touchdown and Jason Jacoby returned a kickoff for a 100-yard touchdown against UNLV (Oct. 15, 1994).
Tulsa's 28 first quarter points is Tulsa's most single quarter points scored since scoring 29 points in the second quarter against SW Missouri State (Sept. 5, 1998).
UTEP's 28 first quarter points is the most single quarter points scored by at Tulsa opponent since Texas A&M scored 28 points in the second quarter (Sept. 18, 1999).
Tulsa's 49 first half points mark the second time this season the team has scored 40 or more points in the first half. The other time was against North Texas when Tulsa scored 42 first half points (Sept. 6, 2008).
With David Johnson's fifth touchdown pass of the game, he surpassed Billy Guy Anderson (1965) for third on Tulsa's season chart (31) and he also surpassed Anderson for eighth on Tulsa's career chart (31).
With David Johnson's fifth touchdown pass of the game, he surpassed Kevin Kolb of Houston (2006) for 3rd most touchdown passes in a season among Conference USA quarterbacks.

Marion's 233 receiving yards is the 11th most in Tulsa history and most yards in a game since Dan Bitson hauled in 14 catches for 235 yards against Iowa (Sept. 30, 1989).
Marion's 233 receiving yards gives him a career total of 1,999 which surpasses Rick Eber's 1,771 yards (1966-67) for 10th on Tulsa's all-time receiving chart.
This was Marion's second career 200-yard receiving game. His previous 200-yard game was last year with 244 yards against Rice (Nov. 24, 2007). He became only the 4th player in Tulsa history to catch for multiple 200-yard games in his career (Howard Twilley with 6; Dan Bitson with 3; Chris Penn with 3).
This was Marion's 10th career game with at least 100 receiving yards. He trails only Dan Bitson (16), Howard Twilley (14) and Chris Penn (12).
With 321 yards rushing, this marks the 4th consecutive game that Tulsa has rushed for at least 300 yards.
With 77 points, this marks the 5th time this season Tulsa has scored at least 50 points in a game and the 3rd time this season Tulsa has scored at least 60 points in a game.

With 211 kickoff return yards, Damaris Johnson set a new school record for kickoff return yards in a game, surpassing Ashlan Davis' 199 yards set verse SMU on November 6, 2004.
