"We played OCU and UCO right before Spring Break," Head Coach Kyle Cussen said. "The OCU game we played rusty, like we were trying too hard to prove ourselves, and ended up tying 0-0. We could have won that game, but we were just not as sharp as we could have been. The UCO game was great. UCO beat us last fall, but we defeated them 2-0 this time. We played very well and it was a great turnaround for us."
"Since the team just returned from Spring Break, I was a little concerned about how we would play against Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, but the team did great. We defeated OU, 1-0. I was very pleased with how we competed throughout the entire game. We battled and won almost every 50/50 ball."
"OSU is a top-20 team, and the first team to score on us this spring. We had our chances, but overall it was a great game. OSU scored a world-class goal against us, and I am very pleased with our effort."
"We only have three more days of competition remaining this spring, including the Tulsa Alumni game on April 5th. I am looking forward to it, and encourage all TU alumni and fans to come out to watch."
