Tulsa Cross Country Teams Finish Third at Tulsa Early Bird

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa men's and women's cross country teams both turned in third-place finishes at the Tulsa Early Bird on Tuesday night at Mohawk Park. The men's team finished the 5 x 1-mile relay in 24:36, while the women's squad finished the 5 x 1-mile relay in 29:32.
In the men's race, Oklahoma State captured first place with a time of 23:37 followed by Oral Roberts in second place with a time of 24:19. On the women's side, Oral Roberts claimed the title in 28:33 while Oklahoma State placed second in 29:11.
The Hurricane men's team participants were Bill Martin, Brad Harris, Patrick McConnell, Brett Koehn and Daniel LePage. The women's team featured Zoraya Hightower, Jaclyn Rollins, Erin Huddleston, Ashley Scott and Tricity Andrew.
Tulsa is back in action this Saturday when they host the Hurricane Festival at Mohawk Park. The men's four-mile race begins at 8:00 a.m., followed by the women's two-mile race at 8:35 a.m.
