Colin Clarke Named 2009 NSCAA Assistant Coach of the Year

Colin Clarke has helped coach three All-Americans and 29 all-conference performers in the last seven years.

Tulsa, Oklahoma - University of Tulsa assistant head coach Colin Clarke was named as the 2009 National Soccer Coaches Association of America Assistant Coach of the Year, as announced by the NSCAA. Clarke also received the regional honor announced in December.

Clarke just concluded his seventh season with TU, as the Golden Hurricane posted a 15-5-2 overall record, captured the Conference USA regular season and tournament titles for the third-straight season and advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals.

He has been an integral part of Tulsa soccer, helping TU record 87 wins, advance to the NCAA tournament five times, and has helped coach three All-Americans and 29 all-conference performers in the last seven years.
