Tulsa, ORU Play Tonight in City Rivalry

Tulsa, Oklahoma - For the 46th time, city rivals Tulsa and Oral Roberts will match-up on the basketball court tonight in a 7 pm non-conference game at the ORU Mabee Center.
Tulsa comes into the game with an overall 14-3 record, while ORU is 10-9 on the season, including a 6-1 home record. The Golden Eagles have home wins over the Big 12's Missouri Tigers and 12th-ranked New Mexico in December. Tulsa is 2-1 on the road this year with consecutive wins at Houston and SMU.
The Tulsa Golden Hurricane lead the series 29-16, but over the last 10 seasons the series is tied at five games apiece. Before that, Tulsa had won 21 of the previous 23 contests, including 13 straight.
The Golden Eagles have four double-figure scorers, led by 6'6" forward Dominique Morrison's 15.5 points, while 6'5" forward Michael Craion averages 12.7 points and 6'9" senior center Kevin Ford chips in with 12.2 points per game.
Freshman Warren Niles set an ORU freshman scoring record two games ago with 39 points at IUPUI, and on the year is scoring at an average of 11.0 points.
For Tulsa, senior Ben Uzoh leads the Hurricane attack with a team-leading 16.8 scoring average and 4.5 assists, while junior Justin Hurtt averages 15.6 points and is coming off of a career-high 22 points on Saturday against UCF. Hurricane senior center Jerome Jordan is averaging 14.4 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.0 blocked shots on the season.
Before the game, Tulsa fans are gathering for a pre-game party beginning at 4:30 pm at SoCo's Sports Grill at 8161 South Harvard (southeast corner of 81st & Harvard).
