Chris Worrell earns another academic honor.

Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa golfers Chris Worrell and Mark Mumford were named Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars for the second consecutive year. A total of 152 players in Division I were recognized as All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

Worrell completed his career with a 3.881 grade point average in finance, while Mumford enters his final year in 2013-14 with a 3.214 GPA in finance as well.

Worrell placed among the top-15 in four tournaments in 2012-13, including a season-best second place performance at the GolfWeek Conference Challenge. He had a team-best 73.4-stroke average in 34 rounds of golf. Worrell was also a three-time Conference USA All-Academic selection. Mumford finished the season with a 75.5 stroke average, while finishing among the top-20 three times.

To be eligible for Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar status an individual must be a junior or senior academically, compete in at least three full years at the collegiate level, participate in 70-percent of his team's competitive rounds or compete in the NCAA Championships, have a stroke-average under 76.0 and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.2.
