• Tulsa wore white helmets with white jerseys and blue pants for the second time this season. The other game was at FAU.

• Tulsa team captains were senior fullback Matt Luetjen, senior defensive end Chris Hummingbird, junior defensive end Derrick Alexander, and junior offensive tackle Garret Stafford.

• Donnell Hawkins makes his first start of the year in place of Trent Martin. Martin has started in every game this season up to this point.

• Senior defensive back DeMarco Nelson made his 49th start in 50 career games played.

• Tulsa won the coin toss and deferred to the second half.

• Dane Evans threw an interception for the first time in 166 attempts at the 2:49 mark in the first quarter. Evans went four complete games without an interception thrown.

• It was the sixth time this season Tulsa was held scoreless in the first quarter of play. The Hurricane scored in the opening quarter the past four games.

• The six-yard connection between Dane Evans and Keevan Lucas at the 5:41 mark in the second quarter, marked Evans' 20th touchdown pass on the year and Lucas' 11th touchdown reception.

• The 11 touchdown receptions by Lucas are the most in a season since Brennan Marion in 2007. The touchdown reception was Lucas' 12th of his career.

• Dane Evans has now thrown a touchdown pass in every game this season.

• Evans three interceptions thrown is his most in a single game this season.

• Michael Mudoh's interception at the 5:40 mark in the fourth, gives him his second-straight game with an interception, and his third in his career.

• This was the second-straight game where the opposition had more offensive plays than Tulsa. TU held that advantage in the first eight games on the season.

• Tulsa's 56 total plays are the fewest of the season for the Hurricane.

• Tulsa's 201 yards of total offense is the fewest by the offense this season.

• UCF's 82 total plays was the most plays ran against Tulsa this season in a single game.

• Seven points matches a season low for Tulsa. The Hurricane was held to seven points against Oklahoma.

• This game marked the eighth meeting between the two programs, UCF improves to 3-5 in the all-time series.
