Men’s XC Vaults into USTFCCCA Poll at No. 13

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa men's cross country team is ranked No. 13 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division I National Coaches' Poll released on Tuesday.
 
The Golden Hurricane is ranked in the national top-30 poll for the first time this year, after finishing eighth at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational last week. TU received 207 votes to vault from an unranked position into the top-15. The Hurricane had been receiving votes each week since the start of the season.
 
Tulsa last appeared in the national rankings at the end of the 2014 season after it finished 25th at the NCAA Championships. The TU men's team is also ranked No. 2 in the Midwest Regional rankings, up two spots from its No. 4 ranking on Oct. 5. The women's squad jumped up two spots to No. 6 in the Midwest Regional rankings.
 
The Golden Hurricane is back in action on Oct. 31 at the American Athletic Conference Championships in Greenville, N.C.
