Tulsa Men’s Soccer Team Hosts #18 USF on Wednesday

The Tulsa men's soccer team will host 18th-ranked USF on Wednesday, October 7 beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
 
Tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the north ticket gate, online at TulsaHurricane.com or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688.  Youth 12 and under can get in free by wearing a soccer jersey, and TU students can show their student ID to receive free admission at the gate.  
 
Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch it live on TulsaHurricane.com/watch.  There is a 24HR Pass, a Monthly Pass and Yearly Pass that allow you to watch all TU home men's and women's soccer, volleyball and softball games depending on the package purchased.
 
The Golden Hurricane has a 4-4-2 overall record and a 0-1-1 mark in American Athletic Conference play.  TU has faced four top-25 opponents, including three in the top-five, so far this season.  Tulsa tied #2 Virginia (1-1, 2OT), and fell to #1 Creighton (1-0), #4 North Carolina (2-1) and #22 Saint Louis (1-0, 2OT).
 
TU ranks 30th in total assists (17), 44th in total points (51) and 46th in total goals (17) among the nation's best.
 
The Hurricane has tallied 17 goals this season from 10 different players, including a team-best four scores from Juan SanchezGeoffrey Dee, Miguel Velasquez, Cameron Drackett and Bradley Bourgeois each have two goals.  TU also has 17 assists from 11 players, including three from Dee.
 
USF, which has a No. 18 ranking by the NSCAA, has a 7-3 overall record, including a 2-0 mark in The American.  The Bulls are led by Nazeem Bartman who has four goals and three assists for 11 points, all of which are team bests.  Spasoj Stefanovic has played every minute in goal, picked up 32 saves, has five shutouts and allowed just seven goals for a 0.70 GAA.
 
The Bulls have a 2-1-2 lead in the all-time series with the Golden Hurricane.  The last meeting came in the American Athletic Conference Championship when the two teams battled to a 0-0 tie and TU claimed the title on penalty kicks, 6-5.
