
There's not many University golf programs that have any better courses to play than the golfers at The University of Tulsa. Beginning with Southern Hills Country Club, the host course to past U.S. Opens and PGA Championships, Tulsa golfers have the opportunity to play top-notch golf courses in the area.

Not too many cities can boast as many first-class championship courses as Tulsa, and the TU golfers have played them all. Numerous private golf clubs and public courses provide Tulsa golf teams the opportunity to test their skills on the various course layouts.

The ideal weather in northeastern Oklahoma allows for training year-round, but it also gives golfers a taste of various climates and weather conditions. Battling the elements makes for a competitive golfer.

Tulsa courses have hosted professional golf tournaments such as U.S. Opens and PGA Championships, as well as serving as a stop on the LPGA Tour. The NCAA Women's Golf Championship came to Tulsa in 1999 and 2014, and numerous conference championships
have been hosted on Tulsa courses.

The Golden Hurricane is also fortunate to have a 2,500-square foot Indoor Golf Facility on the TU campus, which houses a putting green, four hitting bays and team lounge. The student-athletes also have access to video camera equipment used to help evaluate their swing.
