The Tulsa men's and women's cross country teams are preparing for the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships on Friday in Iowa City, Iowa. Head Coach Steve Gulley sat down with 'Cane Vision to talk about the American Athletic Conference Championships and preview the regionals.

The men's team won the American Athletic Conference Championship for the third year in a row, and claimed its seventh consecutive conference title overall. Senior Luke Traynor won the men's 8K individual title. The women's team finished in second place, just two points behind SMU.

The Golden Hurricane teams can automatically qualify for the NCAA Championships on Nov. 19 with a top-two finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional, or by earning an at-large bid.
