POSSESSION TIME DISADVANTAGE AGAIN … In the previous two games, Tulsa's offense only had possession of the ball for a total of only 37:41 minutes … including the 8:58 and 9:51 in the first half against New Mexico and Navy, respectively … today in the first half, Tulsa had the ball for only 6:51 compared to 23:09 for Tulane.

BANGED UP DEFENSE … A defensive unit that was down 4 starters last week from the opening day lineup due to injuries – DE Jesse Brubaker, DT Kolton Shindelar, CB Kerwin Thomas and SAF Jordan Mitchell – suffered another injury to a starter on the first series as SAF Manny Bunch left the game and did not return to the lineup … Brubaker and Thomas returned to the playing field today.
