Tulsa MBB Arrives in South Carolina on Tuesday

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Fresh off a win over Oral Roberts to claim its second straight Mayor's Cup, the University of Tulsa men's basketball team traveled east on Tuesday to prepare for this week's Puerto Rico Tip-Off at Myrtle Beach.

The Golden Hurricane rose early this morning for a team breakfast at 5 a.m., followed by a 7 a.m. flight to Myrtle Beach by way of Charlotte. Once settled at the team hotel, Director of Athletic Performance for Basketball David Deets led the squad through a pool workout.

Following a team dinner in the evening, TU will watch film and get rested for practice on Wednesday at HTC Center.
