Tulsa Athletics Partners with Blockparty to Provide Premium Tailgating

DALLAS, Texas – The University of Tulsa athletics and the school's multimedia rights holder, Golden Hurricane Sports Properties, has entered into an agreement with Blockparty, a fan-focused hospitality and entertainment company, to provide turnkey tailgating to Golden Hurricane fans, it was announced today.

Beginning in the 2018 season, Blockparty will become the exclusive tailgating provider. Fans will have options to purchase tailgate packages with included amenities for groups of all sizes.

"We are extremely excited to provide Blockparty's quality service to Golden Hurricane fans," said Tulsa Vice President & Director of Athletics Dr. Derrick Gragg. "Our goal is to enhance the game day experience and through our partnership with Blockparty we are able to accomplish that goal."

Blockparty will offer a variety of tailgate packages to Hurricane fans and visiting fans looking for a hassle-free game day experience. Turnkey tailgate packages will include amenities such as tailgate games, tailgate attendants, premium lounge furniture, ice chest service, and FanText ™, Blockparty's SMS based one-to-one communication platform for customer service on game day.
