Tulsa’s Lorena Tseng in 1st Place After Two Rounds at the Lady Paladin Invitational

GREENVILLE, SC –– Sophomore Lorena Tseng has a 36-hole score of 5-under par 139 to move into first place at the Lady Paladin Invitational at the par-72 Furman University Golf Club Saturday afternoon.
Tseng moved up 5 spots from 6th to 1st place with today's 4-under par round of 68. Starting on hole 10 today, Tseng had birdie putts on holes 13, 17, 2, 5 and 7 with just one bogey on the day.
Tseng holds a 3-stroke lead over three players in second place, including Phune Khine of UNC Wilmington, Natalie Srinivasan of Furman and Wake Forest's Sera Tadokoro.
The Tulsa women are in 13th place in the 16-team field after Saturday's second round of 303 for a total score of 611. Wake Forest leads the field with an overall score of 575.
Sophomore Sammy Liu had the second-best round of the day for the Hurricane with a round of 77 and has an overall 57th-place score of 157.
Juniors Taylor Dobson and Haley Greb and freshman Alex Christeson each scored rounds of 79 on Saturday. Dobson has a two-round total of 155 for 47th place, while Christeson has a score of 160 for 70th place, while Greb is in 74th place with a 161 total score.
The final round takes place on Sunday.
