THE STORYLINES . . .
• Tulsa is in its 120th season of football this year, as college football celebrates its 150th year.
• Tulsa has the smallest FBS enrollment with 3,297 undergraduate students, while another private institution, SMU, has an enrollment of 10,893 students.
• The first time these two teams met on the gridiron was on this same date, Oct. 5, 1935, as SMU won 14-0 in Tulsa.
• The Tulsa and SMU defenses are allowing similar numbers – Tulsa allows 26.2 points and 378.5 yards per game, while SMU has allowed 26.6 points and 366.4 yards per contest.
• Offensively, though, SMU averages 44.4 points, Tulsa only 21.5 points … SMU gains 510.6 yards of total offense, while the Hurricane averages 363.0 yards per game.

• Wyoming drove to the Tulsa 10-yard line before Cooper Edmiston forced a fumble that was recovered by Reggie Robinson II at the 3-yard line for the win.
• It was Robinson's first fumble recovery of the season and second of his career.

• RB Shamari Brooks has had back-to-back 100+ rushing games with 140 yards at San Jose State and 107 against Oklahoma State.
• In the last 2 games, CB Reggie Robinson has had an interception vs. Oklahoma State and a blocked field goal and fumble recovery against Wyoming.
• DE Trevis Gipson has 6.5 TFLs among his 18 total tackles this year … he had 2 TFLs at Michigan State, 2.5 TFLs at San Jose State and 2 TFLs vs. Wyoming.
