Rachal returns as Tulsa's leading scorer entering the 2020-21 season, as he averaged 12.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.5 steals per game. The Natchitoches, La., native appeared in 30 contests starting in 29 of them.
Rachal led the team in rebounds, steals and blocks while shooting 44.1-percent from the field and 79.4-percent from the free-throw line. He scored in double-figures 20 times, led by a career-high 30-point effort in a win against Austin Peay. Rachal was the first Hurricane to score 20+ points in three consecutive games since Shaquille Harrison in 2015.
The 6'7" guard/forward is one of two full-time returning starters for the Golden Hurricane. In all, the squad returns five letterwinners and will welcome seven newcomers, two of which have Division I experience.
