We caught up with first-year head softball coach Crissy Strimple to recap the shortened 2020 season..

Strimple's initial season as the Tulsa head softball coach was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the post-John Bargfeldt era got off to a solid start. Tulsa opened the year winning seven straight, eight of the first nine games and finished the 24-game season with a 13-11 mark against a tough non-conference slate.

Tulsa's early schedule featured five games against four teams that earned a top-25 national ranking.
