Tulsa’s Til Zinnhardt Named The American Defensive Player of the Week

Tulsa's Til Zinnhardt was named the American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, as announced today by the league office.

Zinnhardt scored the game-winning goal to give No. 7 Tulsa a 2-1 victory over Temple last week. Zinnhardt's goal came in the 60th minute as he headed in a cross from six yards out into the center of the net. Zinnhardt also helped anchor a defense that allowed just four shots in the contest.

This was Zinnhardt's second weekly conference honor this season as he also picked up defensive accolades on September 13.
