Tulsa Women’s Soccer Team Hosts #18 Memphis on Thursday

The Tulsa women's soccer team returns home to host #18 Memphis on Thursday, October 7 beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
Tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the north ticket gate, online at TulsaHurricane.com/tickets or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688.
Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch it live on ESPN+. TU fans can subscribe to ESPN+ to watch select Golden Hurricane basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball games. The Golden Hurricane has a 6-5-1 overall record, including a 1-2 mark in the American Athletic Conference, and are coming off a 4-1 win over Temple last week. Isold Runarsdottir has a team-best six goals, while Megan Nielsen has four scores, Mia Darden and Liliana Fernandez both have two goals, and six others have one score. Darden, Liliana Fernandez and Karsen Aguirre each have recorded two assists. Emma Malsy has logged 571 minutes between the posts, picked up 25 saves for a 0.694 saves percentage and allowed 11 goals for a 1.73 goals-against average, while Raegan Beeding has played 558 minutes between the posts, recorded 30 saves for a 0.833 saves percentage and allowed six goals for a 0.97 GAA.
Memphis is ranked No. 18 by Top Drawer Soccer, No. 20 by College Soccer News and No. 21 by United Soccer Coaches. The Tigers have an 8-1-1 overall record, including a 2-0 mark in The American. Memphis is led by Tanya Boychuk with four goals, while Saoria Miller, Aubrey Mister and Jocelyn Alonzo have three goals each. Elizabeth Moberg has played the majority of minutes in goal, picked up 15 saves for a 0.750 saves percentage and allowed 5 goals for a 0.52 GAA.
