Tulsa Football Seniors Returning for 2021 Season

TULSA, Okla. –– Fourteen Tulsa football senior student-athletes who normally would have completed their final year of eligibility in 2020, will return to the Golden Hurricane roster in 2021.

The list includes five offensive players, seven defenders and two special team's players.
In addition, two starters who missed the 2020 season due to injury – running back Shamari Brooks and linebacker Yohance Burnett – will be back on the field in the 2021 season.

On offense, Abe Anderson (TE), Tiller Bucktrot (OG), Dylan Couch (OG), Josh Stewart (WR) and Keylon Stokes.

Couch and Stokes are returning offensive starters combining to start a total of 50 games, while each started all nine games in 2020. Stokes has led the Hurricane in receiving in each of the past two seasons and has a career total of 155 receptions for 2,402 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Stokes caught 46 passes for 644 yards and 3 TDs in 2020, while returnee Josh Stewart had 10 receptions for 94 yards this past season.

Defensively, the returnees are Allie Green IV (CB), TieNeal Martin (SAF), Treyvon Reeves (LB), Robert Revels III (LB), Tyarise Stevenson (NG), Cullen Wick (DE) and Cristian Williams (SAF). The seven defensive returning players combined for 188 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and seven pass breakups.

Five full-time starters are among the group of returning defensive seniors, including safeties Martin and Williams, cornerback Green, nose guard Stevenson and Reeves at linebacker. Wick also started four of Tulsa's nine games in 2020.

Place-kicker Zach Long and deep snapper Adam Higuera return on specials teams.

On special teams, Long converted 12-of-15 field goals with a long of 48 yards in his first season handling placements for the Hurricane. Higuera, who will be starting his fifth season as Tulsa's deep snapper, has started all 44 games of his career.

Will graduate in May 2021 with a theatre degree … has played in 45 career games with 5 starts … saw action in all 9 games in 2020.

Dylan Couch • OL
Earned his bachelor's degree in accounting in Dec. 2019 … working on an MBA … started all 9 games in right guard in 2020 … has played in 30 career games and has started 17 contests … was an honorable mention all-AAC selection in 2020.

Allie Green • CB
Will receive his media studies bachelor's degree in December 2021 … was named a one of 12 semifinalists for the Thorpe Award in 2020, given to the nation's top defensive back … has played in 43 career games with 25 starts … has 116 career tackles and 11 pass breakups … started 8 of 9 games and had 28 tackles, including 24 solos … was an honorable mention all-AAC selection in 2020.

Adam Higuera • DS
Will graduate in May 2021 with a degree in organizational studies … plans to work on an MBA next season … has been the deep snapper in every game since his freshman year … has played in 44 career games.

Zack Long • PK
Will graduate in May 2021 with a degree in finance … expected to work towards his MBA … first began playing football; when he walked on to the Tulsa football team in the spring of 2019 … was a second-team all-AAC selection in 2020 … converted on 12-of-15 field goals and 25-of-26 PAT … had a career-high 48-yarder at Navy … scored 13 of Tulsa's 19 points in the Navy win.

TieNeal Martin • SAF
Will graduate in May 2021 with a degree in organizational studies …has played in 21 career game with 10 starts … recorded 27 tackles and 6 pass breakups in 2020 … started 6 of the 7 games he played in 2020.

Treyvon Reeves • LB
Will graduate in May 2021 with a degree in organizational studies … has played in 44 career games … started 8-of-9 games in 2020 … has 74 career tackles … tallied 43 stops and 5.5 TFL for -25 yards in 2020.

Robert Revels III • LB
Received degree in organizational studies in May 2020 … currently working on an MBA … has played in 48 career games with 3 starts … has 62 career tackles … totaled 13 stops and 2 TFL for -7 yards in 2020.

Tyarise Stevenson • DL
Received his bachelor's degree in media studies in December 2020 … working on a degree in organizational studies … has 83 tackles and 7.5 TFL in 44 career games … has started 27 contests … started all 9 games in 2020 and had 17 stops and 2.5 TFL.

Josh Stewart • WR
Graduated in December 2020 with a degree in management and is working on his MBA … has played in 28 career games and has 23 receptions for 302 yards … caught 10 passes for 94 yards in 2020.

Earned bachelor's degree in exercise & sports sciences in the summer of 2020 … working on a second degree in business management … has played in 31 career games and has 7 starts … has 81 tackles and 9.5 TFL for -49 yards in his career … tallied 12 tackles, 3.5 TFL for -11 yards, 2.5 sacks for -9 yards and 2 QB hurries in 2020.

Cristian Williams • SAF
Earned degree in organizational studies in the summer of 2020 … working on a second degree in psychology … has played in 47 games with 24 starts … has recorded 174 tackles and 10 pass breakups … had 48 tackles and 4 pass breakups in 2020.
