A LOOK AHEAD - MEMPHIS 

• For the second time this season, the Hurricane host an American Athletic Conference series in the Collins Family Softball Complex ... TU welcomes the Memphis Tigers April 17-18 for a 4-game series.

• Tulsa will take on the Tigers Saturday at 12:00 p.m and 2:00 p.m ... the series finale will take place on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

• The Tigers enter the series with a 7-25 record overall on the season and 0-8 in conference play ... Memphis opened conference play by getting swept by the USF Bulls, 0-4,  on the road, before going 0-4 at home against Wichita State in the second weekend.

• The U of M is led in the circle by Hallie Siems who has drawn 8 starts with a 2-5 record ... from the plate Gracie Morton leads the Tigers with a .326 batting average, 31 hits and 14 RBIs. 

SERIES STATS AGAINST THE TIGERS

• This is the 43rd meeting between the Hurricane and Tigers ... Tulsa holds a 33-9 advantage all time against Memphis.

• Tulsa has protected their home diamond holding an 18-3 record in the Collins Family Softball Complex ... TU has won 8-of-9 at home since joining the American Athletic Conference in 2015. 

• The last time the Tigers stepped into the Collins Family Softball Complex (March 29-31, 2019), TU swept the series 3-0 ... in the series finale Rylie Spell went 3-3, driving in 4 runs as the Hurricane won 12-5. 

POCHOP EARNS ANOTHER WEEKLY HONOR

• After winning Pitcher of the Week earlier in the season, junior pitcher Samantha Pochop was named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll after going 1-0 against the USF Bulls on April 10. 

• Against USF Pochop threw 6 innings, allowing 2 hits while striking out three on her way to picking up her 6th win of the season.

THE BALL MAGNET

• Getting hits and drawing walks are not the only way a player can help their team by getting on base ... Haley Morgan has given up her body multiple times this season, using hit by pitches to get on base.  

• Morgan is first on the team with 11 of TU's 18 HBPs ... the center-fielder is 6th in the country in HBP per game with 0.48.
