• The Hurricane will continue conference play this weekend, April 9-11, in Tampa, Fla. against the USF Bulls.
• Tulsa will take on the Bulls Friday at 11:00 a.m. ... the series will continue with a double-header on Saturday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. ... the series finale will take place on Saturday at 9:00 a.m.
• The Bulls enter the series with a 17-9 record overall on the season and 7-1 in conference play ... USF opened conference play sweeping the Memphis Tigers, 4-0, at home, before going 3-1 at Houston last weekend.

DELCE AND NORWOOD NAMED TO AAC WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
• Pitcher Chenise Delce and second basemen Kylie Norwood both land on the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for their contributions in TU's 3-1 series victory over UCF.Â
• Delce did it all for the Hurricane going 6-7 from the plate with a .857 batting average, while also throwing 6 innings of shutout softball in the series opening victory.Â
• Norwood was 7-16 from the plate for a .438 average, driving in 4 runs during the weekend ... she recorded a double and home run in the process.Â
HURRICANE CAPTURES SERIES WIN AGAINST NO. 22 UCF
• TU went 3-1 during the opening weekend of conference play, defeating the no. 22-ranked UCF Knights at the Collins Family Softball Complex.Â
• The Hurricane used a balance attack of consistent pitching and hitting to take down the nights ... from the circle Chenise Delce shined pitching 6 scoreless innings in the series opener.
• Tulsa received production from the entire lineup from the plate throughout the weekend ... Kylie Norwood led the way with 7 hits and 4 runs batted in.Â
• Down 4-2 entering the 7th inning of the second game of the series, the Hurricane bats came alive ... Norwood started the inning off with a solo home run cutting the Knights' lead to 1 ... after an Alexis Perry walk, Aubree Seaney hit a walk-off 2-run home run to seal TU's second win.
