PRACTICE 8: Montgomery Pleased with Hurricane Workout

TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa Golden Hurricane football team was back on Harwell Field Friday morning for a two-hour workout.
 
"We had a good day. We took the shoulder pads off today so you gear your practice a little differently. I thought our guys did a nice job with a lot of good work. We did some nice things on the field on both sides of tomorrow," said Tulsa Head Coach Philip Montgomery.
 
"Tomorrow we have our first scrimmage so we'll get an opportunity to really see our guys in more action with coaches off the field," added Montgomery.
