Tulsa Makes Move in Second Round at The Bruzzy

FORT WORTH, Texas –– The Tulsa golfers ended the first day at The Bruzzy in 8th  place at the par-72 Waterchase Country Club course, as second-round action was delayed until Tuesday morning due to darkness.
 
The Hurricane ended first round play in a 12th place tie with a score of 303, but rallied in the second round to end the day's action at 3-under par through 15 holes and one shot out of 7th place.
 
Lilly Thomas sits in 8th place individually after an even-par 72 in the first round and 2-under par through the first 17 holes of the second round. Sophie Johnson will begin third round action in 26th place after finishing her second round at 2-under par 70 for a 147 36-hole total.
 
A pair of freshman Sydney Seigel at 78 and even-par for the second round and Lovisa Gunnar at 76 and 2-over par on her second 18 holes to tie for 44th place.
 
Lorena Tseng had an opening round 78 and in the second round has a 1-over par score.
 
Haley Greb finished her second round with a score of 77 after a first-round score of 80 for a 157 total.
 
Teams will complete second round action Tuesday morning before closing out the tournament with the final 18 holes.
 
In other action, Tulsa's Tita Loudtragulngam and Hannah Robinett are playing as individuals at the ORU Spring Invite. After two rounds, Lououdtragulngam is in a tie for 21st place after scoring rounds of 75 and 77 for a 152 total on the River course at The Club at Indian Springs.  Robinett shot a score of 81 for both rounds on Monday and sits in 53rd place.
