The Tulsa women's soccer team put together a 1-0 shutout over crosstown riavl Oral Roberts on Sunday night at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. The Golden Hurricane moved to 6-3-1 on the season, while the Golden Eagles fell to 5-4-1 overall.

"Playing Oral Roberts is like having another conference game because it is so intense and there is so much passion in the game, but tonight some of the soccer broke down because so much effort was being put out," Head Coach Jim Rhein said. "I was pleased with 20-25 minutes of play in each half at most. You have to fight through and maintain the way you want to play and I didn't think we did that very well today."

Tulsa will return to action on Thursday, September 22 against South Florida beginning at 6:00 pm in Tampa.

How it Happened:
Jordan Frederick put Tulsa on the board at the 27:34 mark as she picked up a cross from Madison Tokarchik on the left side and shot into the lower right corner from six yards out.

Neither team found the back of the net in the final 62 minutes of the game for the final 1-0 score.
